How to apply for confirmation of “export-oriented enterprises” and “advanced-technological enterprises”?
In light of the principle of combining approval and the administration, and the principle of territorial jurisdiction, districts (including the Pudong New District), counties, and some commissions, offices and bureaus are entrusted with the responsibilities of confirming and assessing the qualifications of FIEs within their jurisdictions for export-oriented enterprises. FIEs that wish to be confirmed as advanced-technological enterprises may first file applications to departments in charge (at district, county, and bureau level), and further submit applications to the Municipal Commission of Foreign Investment for examination and approval after passing preliminary examination.
